Introduction

This website provides information on the improvements being considered for the Blackwall Reach area of Tower Hamlets.

Blackwall Reach is the name which has been given to the area shown within the red line on the map below.

The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is working with English Partnerships, the national regeneration agency, to develop and test a number of regeneration options and has been consulting with the residents of Blackwall Reach to obtain their views on the plans.

The first phase in this consultation process took place between August and November 2007.The residents feedback was reviewed before a final plan for the regeneration of the area was put forward to Tower Hamlets Cabinet for approval in February 2008. These plans were approved by Cabinet.
